Ecosystem Marketplace has released updated carbon credit pricing data for 2025. This shows the price reported for Woodland Carbon Code and Peatland Code units continued to rise in 2025.
The average price reported for Woodland Carbon Code units has increased to £28.32 in 2025, up from £26.85 in 2024. The range of prices also increased with a spread of £112.50 between the lowest and highest price, compared to £62 last year.
The average price reported for Peatland Code units has increased to £39.57 in 2025, up from £25.04 in 2024. The range of prices has increased with a spread of approximately £75 between the lowest and highest price, compared to £7.50 last year.
While reported transaction volumes were lower than in 2024, these figures demonstrate the continued value that buyers place on high-quality, domestically generated carbon units linked to nature restoration and climate action.
